The story of SPRIZZEROL
After having travelled around the world and gained many gastronomic experiences, in 1934 Edoardo De Martin came back home. In his birth place Cortina D’Ampezzo he came to the tastiest idea ever thought of: according to an ancient and jealously-guarded family recipe, he created a most original aperitif.
Produced with excellent Italian wines, selected aromatic herbs, and natural – as well as secret – ingredients from the Dolomites Alps, this aperitif then only needed an appropriate name.
Edoardo called it: «ORIGINALE DE MARTIN SPRIZZEROL», moving the first step towards a legendary history.
More than 70 years later, we are writing the present chapter about this beverage.
Nowadays, SPRIZZEROL is a must have in the standard repertory of every famous bar between Milan and Udine.
You find SPRIZZEROL – in all its possible versions – in every place where the young and urban people meet.
Nowadays, the grandson Paolo De Martin not only carefully mixes SPRIZZEROL according to the family recipe.
